We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

Return Policy: 

An non customized item is only eligible for store credit or exchange within 14 calendar days of purchase. No Refunds are giving especially on custom handmade items. 

If color of embroidery or htv is not specified when ordering then what is depicted in online picture is what color will be done. No refunds or exceptions! 

When ordering monogrammed items please list the initials in the order you would like them. Most prefer First, Last and Middle but some do not. Once an order is placed it can not be changed. We unfortunately will not remake, replace or refund when this happens. 

Items must not be worn, used or tampered with when exchanging for replacement or store credit.

Damaged items MUST be reported within 5 days of receiving the goods. No refunds will be given on damaged items only exchanges on items of equal or lesser value or a online/store credit will be given. 

If you receive an item and the customization is incorrect do to our mistake we are more than happy to redo or replace the item but only within 30 business days of receiving your purchase. This time frame will have special circumstances during gift giving holidays. 

Holiday items are non returnable and non refundable unless damaged which must be reported within 5 days of receiving the item. More time is giving with gift or holiday purchases.

Many of our custom tees that we advertise are what we call mock ups meaning it’s a computer generated picture and not actually the physical tee. This can cause some slight variations in color of the actual tee color and design. Also colors can have slight differences depending on the customers phone or computer device. We try and match color of tees as closely as possible and if a different color is needed we will contact the customer prior to making or shipping any custom orders. No refunds or exchanges will be made due to the tee appearing darker. 

Due to the pandemic there has been a tee shortage and other brands are sometimes used only if specifically requested a certain brand we will use what is available. Many of our tees we use are a poly blend and not 100% cotton we feel these are the best quality for our customers as well as the process we use to customize our tees. Please be aware of this when ordering as we will not refund for the reason being the blend of the tee used. 

Custom Items:

Many of our customers send pictures requesting can we duplicate certain designs. We love helping our customers with their custom items but we also respect the original designer so therefore we will redesign the item as to make it a original of Caroline Layne Boutique LLC while still doing our best to make the customer happy. Therefore that will not be an exact match of the original design.

Customized apparel is nonreturnable and non refundable no exceptions.

Turn Around Time:

Each of our items that require to be custom made are made to order as we receive payment. We do not start your order until payment is received. Our turn around on custom items such as hand sewn, custom tees, bleached and etc. take 7-10 business days (bleached tees have a 10-14 day turnaround time due to weather as well as process) sometimes longer due to busy times such as holidays. This does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays as the owner of Caroline Layne who is the only person who makes our custom items is not on site to make them. Please be aware of this when ordering if items are needed sooner than this time frame we try and accommodate to the time frame an item is needed but a rush fee will need to be added to your order. 

 

Shipping:

Custom orders will be processed and shipped out within 2 weeks. Customers will receive notification with tracking when there items have shipped.

FREE Local pickup is available. Pickup location is at our Boutique located at 423 S Madison Blvd Roxboro NC 27573

No Shipments are processed on Holidays or Weekends.

All items weighing less than 15 oz are shipped via first class mail for 4.50. Delivery time for first class mail is 3-5 business days to most locations. Please note that USPS does not guarantee dates for first class.

All items weighing over 15 oz are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Pricing mail begins at $7.50 when items are able to ship together, we do so to avoid you having additional shipping costs. Delivery time for priority mail is 2-3 business days to most locations. 

Original Shipping is not refundable.  

Shipping charges (original and return) are the customer's responsibility. 

Although we package your items with care, damages can occur in shipment. If this happens, in most cases a claim can be filed by contacting USPS with your tracking number. Please save your packaging in case photos are needed for your claim.
